About Us

Fighting Something Big was started by a group of students from the University of Denver. We are involved in the Pioneer Leadership Program that is devoted to fostering growth of young leaders, training them to be better leaders in all aspects of life.

As a yearlong class project in 2013, we decided to create a series of videos devoted to resilience amidst struggle. Each of us knows someone who has faced a difficult medical issue and we have seen the way that it can impact individuals and their families. We know that hope is stronger than fear. We desire to aid in the recovery of patients worldwide by providing hope. We plan to do this by sharing powerful stories of individuals who have faced a difficult medical issue and overcome it.

This is for those of you who are fighting something big.
